Town Bond Rating Information
A bond rating is a determination of the amount of risk that a borrower is. This is determined by several factors such as discussions with staff, a thorough review of financials, total indebtedness, and many others. The culmination of these factors is a bond rating. The bond rating of any borrowing entity can influence, among other things, the interest rate when the decision to borrow is made. Hermon’s current bond rating is “AA-“, which puts the Town in a very strong position to borrow with low interest rates. If you would like more information on bond rating, we’ve attached a list of the ratings as well as Hermon’s current bond rating report.
